On December 17, 1987, we formed the Tokyo Type Directors Club (Tokyo TDC) to realize our vision, which was to firmly establish the field of "typedirection." This discipline would involve extensive and deep searches into the visual expressions of letters, going far beyond conventional character designing. The primary activities of our club include an annual international design competition, the publication of the yearbook and the production of exhibitions. If you have not heard from us, please accept that your entry is not selected. - Tokyo Type Directors Club Annual Awards 2010 Results more - The latest Tokyo TDC annual book 'Tokyo TDC, Vol.20' (Japan edition) including the prize winning works of Tokyo TDC Annual Awards 2009 will be published in the end of September. The international edition will be published in January, 2010. We will email the entrants whose work is included in the book when the publishing date has been confirmed. |
