Born in Hokkaido in 1949. SUN-AD Co. Ltd. As art director, he has produced advertisements for Suntory Oolong Tea, United Arrows, and other companies for many years. He has also done a wide range of other work such as advertising art for movies and plays, CI signs, space planning, and book covers. Some of his recent work includes graphic designs for the TORAYA CAFE in Roppongi Hills and the wall graphic, "Wisdom on Wall" for the Tsubasa High School in Tokyo. Mr. Kasai has received the Asahi Advertising Award, the Tokyo ADC Grand Prix, the Mainichi Design Award, and the Kodansha Publishing Culture Award for book design. His works also include "Director and Designer SCAN #4" (Rikuyosha) and "World Graphic Design No.35 - Kaoru Kasai" (TRANSART). |
