Born in Tokyo in 1947. Graduated from Craft Course, Faculty of Fine Arts at Tokyo
National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1970 and joined Advertising Department in Shiseido. Worked as an Art Director and Creative Director on graphic design works including advertising and TVCM. Became freelance in 2005. Past awards include Asahi Advertising Award (1982, 1985), Asahi Advertising Award Category A Prize (1982, 1983, 1992), Mainichi Advertising Award Special Prize (1982), ACC Award Distinctive Spot CM Prize (1995) and ACC Award (1996).
