Born in Tokyo in 1972. After graduated from Graphic Design Course at the Tama Art University, entered Hakuhodo. Art Director of Hakuhodo/ HAKUHODO DESIGN. Major works include from product development and character design to advertising and POP such as "T Boo S!" for TBS, Benesse Corporation, Nippon Professional Baseball, Toshimaen, Laforet Harajuku, NISSAN "MURANO", Sony Computer Entertainment "PSP", "New Ra-Oh" for Nisshin Food Products, Kirin Beer "Hojun", "Nyan Mage" for Edo Wonderland, "Aoyama Gin-bae" for Takeo Paper Show, "PIGMUG" for Francfranc, Logo&Mark of 2003 World Judo Championship and posters for Rugby Japan national team, which art direction aims to be
"understandable". Past awards include Tokyo ADC Award, NY ADC Award, Tokyo TDC Prize, JAGDA Newcomers Prize, New York Festival, Good Design Award, Japan Package Design Award, JR Poster Grand Prix and Mainichi Advertising Design Award. NY ADC International jury in 2004. |
