"The Venus Fort" Poster

The Venus Fort is located at Odaiba. I saw it for the first time during this project and realized that it is a very enjoyable space which integrates a shopping mall and a theme park. It reminded me of the work of Jean Pierre Khazem -- an artist in Paris that I had been wanting to work with -- and thought his style would work well to render this theme park.
I felt like I wanted to add some interpretation of my own to this setting having a somewhat Western feel to it and so I decided to showcase it in a poster using only simple combinations of text. Because it was so straight-forward, I had not expected to receive any award for it. This was a surprise and I'm very grateful for the award. It is a humbling feeling and makes me realize that there is much more that I must do.
